Embedded Software Team in Headset Development Center is a global team located in Ballerup, Denmark, Xiamen, China and other city in EU. The primary responsibility for Embedded Software Team is to design, develop the embedded software for our product with high quality. As a sub-part of Team, In Jabra China, you will join our Embedded Software Team and help us to ensure optimal quality of software that makes it all possible by designing and implementing the software.
Right now, we are working on implementing next generation headset. To support rock-solid software and fast release cycles, as our embedded software engineer, you will take up a broad role that involves software framework designing, development, and coordination. Your goal will be to help us to make the product ready for our customer with high embedded software quality.
We use the SAFe framework to support the cooperation, coordination and the developer process in order to get the highest possible quality of features and software.
Collaborating closely with team in different locations, the Key Responsibilities you will have:
- Join Software Agile Team with developer in Denmark and China
- Developing embedded software in C language
- Handling software development in all phases such as analysis, feasibility studies, requirements, design, usability, implementation, unit and release test and sustaining activities
- Investigating and introducing new technologies to GN Audio.

Assists on software development framework construction.
- Good at C
- Experience with embedded software developing, especially Bluetooth related product.
- Experience in embedded system peripheral driver development.
- Experience in MCU development.
- Good at Bluetooth protocol
- Experience with embedded software development framework will be a plus.
- Fluently English, both spoken and written.
- Team-oriented, good communication and cooperation skills
- Major in computer, communication, electronics, automation, etc.
- Have the highest ethical and professional standards. Curious about learning new technologies.
- Have basic hardware related knowledge will be a plus.

Senior Embedded Software Engineer

What we're looking for
At embedd.it, we power hardware-software integration in embedded devices. We turn fragmented semiconductor chip data into configurable digital twins, then deterministically generate code, tests, and documentation โ making integration faster, cheaper, and resilient to supply chain shocks.
Weโre looking for a true legend โ someone with abstract thinking and deep expertise in low-level software development. Youโll build vendor-agnostic tooling for MCU and peripheral integration to solve hardware-software integration once and for all. We work at the intersection of embedded systems, code generation, compilers, and machine learning. Itโs your chance to help redefine how low-level development is done.
Responsibilities
- Drive the architecture of the driver structures and system layout
- Define scalable patterns for cross-architectural integration across bare-metal, Zephyr, Linux, and other environments
- Deconstruct complex SoC device trees and translate hardware descriptions into structured internal models for automated reasoning
- Partner with the ML team to shape data and annotation models for AI-driven data-extraction tooling
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development, including bare-metal and RTOS-based systems
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Familiarity with firmware configuration, SoC bring-up, and system-level debugging
- Hands-on experience with code generation tools, or low-level compiler/decompiler/emulator technologies
- Strong background in embedded toolchains: compilers, linkers, debuggers, and build systems
- Python or scripting for automation and tooling is a plus
- Experience with functional-safety standards is a plus
