Antenna and RF Test Engineer

Quectel Wireless Solutions is a leading global IoT technology developer and cellular module supplier of 5G, LTE, LTE-A, LPWA, Smart Module, C-V2X, GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSPA (+) and GNSS modules. Due to business expansion on Serbian market in newly opened R&D Centre, Quectel is looking for motivated and proactive candidates to join our team in Belgrade.

Entry level - Antenna and RF Test Engineer

Job Responsibility:

• Assist in analysing Gerber files, schematics, and 3D models.
• Support antenna/RF testing activities, conducting measurements using lab equipment such as VNAs and spectrum analysers with guidance from senior engineers. Learn to perform measurements inside the anechoic chamber.
• Support 3D EM simulation tasks with guidance from senior engineers.
• Participate in basic antenna matching/tuning tasks.
• Assist in drafting reports and documenting testing results.
• Help ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and overall organization of labs and inventory, including tracking/organizing accessories and consumable materials.

Requirements and preferable skills:

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; Preferred: BSc or higher with a major in RF engineering.
• Basic understanding of RF measurement equipment (spectrum analysers, VNAs, etc.) and general-purpose electronics lab tools (DC sources, multimeters).
• Basic ability to analyse Gerber files and schematics.
• Foundational knowledge of RF circuits/components and antennas.
• Eager to learn antenna and RF testing processes and tools.
• Effective communication skills and fluency in English.
