About the Company
We are an innovative robotics startup building intelligent personal robots to handle repetitive household tasks and give people back their time.
Backed by top investors and poised for rapid growth, we are launching our first autonomous home robots in 2026. Our world-class team is tackling frontier challenges in AI, embedded systems, and hardware integration.
Responsibilities
-
Responsible for robot joint module embedded software architecture design, developing EtherCAT slave firmware (include CiA 402 protocol stack) to ensure bus communication realtime performance and synchronization accuracy.
-
Conduct embedded OS (FreeRTOS / RT-Thread / Zephyr / bare metal) driver development, including motor control peripherals (PWM, ADC, Encoder, SPI/CAN), communication interfaces, and bootloader design; optimize interrupt latency and task scheduling.
-
Design and implement communication protocols and data interaction mechanisms between joint modules and upper-level controllers; complete state machine, fault diagnosis, and safety monitoring (STO, overcurrent, overtemperature, encoder anomaly) module software development.
-
Participate in full robot system integration testing, collaborate with hardware teams on drive-controller hardware interface verification, and with algorithm teams on control algorithm real-time deployment and performance tuning.
-
Responsible for software version management (Git), CI/CD pipeline setup, and code review; output detailed software design documents, interface specifications, and test cases; establish a modular, reusable embedded software platform.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or above; Computer Science, Automation, Electronic Information, or related majors preferred; capable of reading English protocol documents (ETG specifications) and technical communication.
Required Skills
-
5+ years of embedded software development experience, 3+ years of EtherCAT slave development experience; prior experience with robot joint modules, servo drives, or motion controller projects preferred.
-
Proficient in C/C++ embedded programming, familiar with ARM Cortex-M/R series or DSP architectures; mastery of EtherCAT protocol stacks and CiA 402 motion control profile.
-
Real-time operating system kernel principles and low-level driver development experience; familiar with SPI, CAN, UART, I2C communication protocols; proficient with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and bus analyzers.
-
Proven ability to implement and deploy motor control algorithms (FOC, SVPWM, three-loop control) within embedded firmware architectures; capable of efficient collaboration with algorithm engineers for control parameter online debugging and firmware flashing toolchain development; strong system-level problem diagnosis capabilities.
-
Must be fluent in English.
