About the Role

Eagle Wireless is looking for a motivated and technically strong Hardware Application Engineer to support customers in the development and deployment of cellular and wireless communication solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of communication technologies, hardware design, and debugging methodologies, with the ability to work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve hardware-related issues efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for hardware AE technical support in debugging and resolving issues related to cellular and non-cellular wireless communication module products for customers
  • Provide reliable hardware design solutions to customers according to their actual applications
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (such as CPM, FAE, and R&D teams) to resolve customer hardware-related issues in a timely manner
  • Review schematic (SCH) and PCB design files of customer devices using EDA tools
  • Support customers in solving hardware-related problems through analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging
  • Assist customers with hardware-related technical inquiries and provide prompt responses
  • Support product evaluation, bring-up, and integration activities during customer development stages
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation when required


Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering, Microwave Engineering, or equivalent
  • Good understanding of communication principles and wireless technologies
  • Familiar with IC system devices and common communication interfaces such as: Power Management,Audio Codec,USB 2.0 / 3.0,UART,PCM,SDIO,PCIe
  • Able to use EDA tools and interpret key technical information from component datasheets
  • Strong logical thinking, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within a team environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cellular or IoT wireless communication modules
  • Familiarity with RF design concepts and antenna considerations
  • Experience supporting customer hardware bring-up and debugging
  • Knowledge of EMC/EMI considerations and hardware validation processes
