About the Role
We are looking for a Senior FPGA Design Engineer with strong expertise in FPGA design and development for high-performance embedded systems used in Aerospace and Defence applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in FPGA architecture, RTL development, verification, timing closure, and board bring-up using Xilinx or Intel FPGA platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement FPGA solutions using VHDL and/or Verilog.

Perform FPGA architecture definition, RTL design, synthesis, implementation, and timing closure.

Develop and execute testbenches for functional verification and validation.

Work on high-speed interfaces including PCIe, DDR3/DDR4, Ethernet, USB, UART, SPI, and I²C.

Integrate and validate ADC/DAC interfaces and embedded peripherals.

Perform Clock Domain Crossing (CDC) analysis and Static Timing Analysis (STA).
-
Debug FPGA designs at board level using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and debugging tools.

Collaborate with Hardware, Embedded Software, and System Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Participate in design reviews, documentation, verification, and product validation.

Support board bring-up, hardware debugging, and production activities.
Required Skills

3–6 years of hands-on FPGA design and development experience.

Strong expertise in VHDL and/or Verilog.

Experience with Xilinx Vivado and Xilinx ISE.

Experience with Intel/Altera Quartus is an added advantage.

Exposure to FPGA-based signal processing or high-speed digital design.

Familiarity with embedded processors/SoCs such as Xilinx Zynq is desirable.

Experience working in a complete product development lifecycle.
Education
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
