Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in FPGA design using hardware description languages such as VHDL and/or Verilog; experience with RTL coding, synthesis, and timing closure.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard FPGA toolchains (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel/Altera Quartus, ModelSim, or similar simulation tools).
  • Knowledge of digital logic design fundamentals, including state machines, pipelining, clock domain crossing, and high-speed interfaces.
  • Experience with FPGA verification and validation, including simulation, testbench creation, debug, and hardware lab testing using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of embedded systems and hardware-software integration; exposure to interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, or UART is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics and collaborate effectively with PCB and hardware design teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams on-site.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for documentation, design reviews, and stakeholder interactions.
  • Experience in applying industry standards, version control systems (e.g., Git), and structured development processes is an advantage.
