Here Is What The Job Entails

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and validating next-generation solutions within our Heat and Cooling Metering product portfolio. You will be hands-on conceptualizing, specifying, designing, evaluating, and continuously improving our embedded software platform to ensure reliable and long-lasting solutions of the highest quality.

More specifically you will be:

  • Developing energy-optimized embedded software for battery applications
  • Designing hardware near embedded applications using C
  • Defining and specifying software requirements
  • Creating robust software for long time operation without service
  • Working cross-functionally in projects from specification through release with a strong focus on quality

With direct reference to our Head of Heat/Cooling Hardware, you will become part of the Heat/Cooling Meters team. The team consists of highly experienced and self-driven engineers from different fields, united by a passion for emerging technologies and creating high-quality solutions. We are a diverse and collaborative group that believes the best ideas come from different perspectives, and we value daily sparring, teamwork, and opportunities to explore new areas.

Less About Us, More About You

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who is ready to take ownership of developing and improving next-generation metering solutions. You achieve this by combining hands-on development skills with creative problem-solving, turning complex challenges into reliable, high-quality products.

In order to succeed, we imagine that you:

  • Have experience with embedded software development in C, either from your studies or early professional career
  • Holds an engineering degree in Software, Electronics Engineering or similar
  • Are passionate about developing cutting-edge solutions and exploring new technologies
  • Approach tasks with curiosity, initiative, and a strong sense of ownership, combining theoretical understanding with a practical mindset
  • Knowledge of C++, C# and Python is advantageous but not required


As we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English. Danish will be considered an advantage.
