Job Description

Key Skills: Autosar, BSW, CAN, UDS, Renesas (RX, RA, RL78 series), Diagnostics

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Own and apply strong knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and BSW stacks, including COM, Diagnostics, and Memory (MEM).
  • Lead BSW-related design, integration, and troubleshooting activities for automotive ECU software components.
  • Drive hands-on embedded systems development using C programming for ECU software and related modules.
  • Ensure correct implementation and validation of automotive communication protocols, including CAN (and other protocols as applicable).
  • Support diagnostic feature development and understanding of diagnostic protocols, including UDS and DoIP.
  • Contribute to Network Management understanding and ensure proper behavior across connected ECU networks.
  • Guide multi-core ECU development efforts, including coordination of software components across cores.
  • Collaborate with teams working on automotive microcontrollers; experience with Infineon / Renesas is beneficial.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers working on AUTOSAR/BSW and embedded development in a hybrid work environment.

Skills Required:

  • Strong expertise in AUTOSAR architecture and Basic Software (BSW) stack development, including COM, Diagnostics, and Memory (MEM) modules.
  • Proven experience in embedded C programming for automotive ECU software development.
  • Good understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN and related network communication concepts.
  • Experience with automotive diagnostic protocols including UDS and exposure to DoIP is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience in BSW integration, configuration, and troubleshooting across ECU software components.
  • Familiarity with network management concepts and ECU communication behavior in distributed systems.
  • Experience working with automotive microcontrollers, particularly Renesas (RX, RA, RL78 series) or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of multi-core ECU architectures and coordination of software components across cores.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in embedded systems and real-time environments.
  • Ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and drive technical delivery in automotive embedded projects.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Education: B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, M.E. in Automotive Engineering / Computer Science / Electrical & Electronics / Electrical & Computer Engineering / related field
