What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing and developing advanced DDR I/O circuits for next-generation SoCs, focusing on performance, power efficiency, and reliability.
- Executing end-to-end circuit design tasks, including schematic capture, simulation, layout, and design validation.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate analog and mixed-signal IP blocks into larger system architectures.
- Ensuring compliance with JEDEC standards for DDR interfaces, including timing, ODT, and SDRAM functionality.
- Conducting design reviews, analyzing process variations, and implementing robust design-for-manufacturability strategies.
- Documenting design methodologies, contributing to continuous improvement, and sharing best practices within the team.

Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
- Enable the rapid integration of high-quality analog IP into complex SoC designs, reducing time-to-market for customers.
- Drive design innovation that meets the evolving demands of performance, power, and area in advanced semiconductor technologies.
- Ensure the delivery of robust and reliable DDR I/O solutions that meet or exceed industry standards.
- Support Synopsys’ position as a global leader in silicon IP by delivering differentiated, high-performance products.
- Contribute to customer success by addressing application-specific requirements and providing technical expertise.

- BTech (with 2+ years of experience) or MTech (with 1+ years of experience) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Strong understanding of CMOS process technologies and deep submicron design challenges.
- Proficiency in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, including layout methodologies and flow.
- Experience with DDR interface design, JEDEC standards, DDR timing, ODT, and SDRAM functionality (a plus).
- Familiarity with ASIC design flow and ESD concepts.

Senior Embedded Software Engineer

What we're looking for
At embedd.it, we power hardware-software integration in embedded devices. We turn fragmented semiconductor chip data into configurable digital twins, then deterministically generate code, tests, and documentation – making integration faster, cheaper, and resilient to supply chain shocks.
We’re looking for a true legend – someone with abstract thinking and deep expertise in low-level software development. You’ll build vendor-agnostic tooling for MCU and peripheral integration to solve hardware-software integration once and for all. We work at the intersection of embedded systems, code generation, compilers, and machine learning. It’s your chance to help redefine how low-level development is done.
Responsibilities
- Drive the architecture of the driver structures and system layout
- Define scalable patterns for cross-architectural integration across bare-metal, Zephyr, Linux, and other environments
- Deconstruct complex SoC device trees and translate hardware descriptions into structured internal models for automated reasoning
- Partner with the ML team to shape data and annotation models for AI-driven data-extraction tooling
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development, including bare-metal and RTOS-based systems
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Familiarity with firmware configuration, SoC bring-up, and system-level debugging
- Hands-on experience with code generation tools, or low-level compiler/decompiler/emulator technologies
- Strong background in embedded toolchains: compilers, linkers, debuggers, and build systems
- Python or scripting for automation and tooling is a plus
- Experience with functional-safety standards is a plus
