Job Description

  • Analog Design Engineer - Onsite Endicott, NY
  • Design of complex analog circuit card assemblies
  • Design, analysis and verification of analog circuits for FPGA and microcontroller interfaces such as PCIE, SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, DDR, Ethernet, ARINC, 1553, etc.
  • Design, simulation and verification high speed interfaces (Signal Integrity)
  • Circuit design tasks consist of part selection, schematic capture, PWB creation support, performance analysis and simulation and design verification testing.
  • Support test and troubleshooting of systems, modules and sub-assemblies of digital modules
  • Work closely with PWB packaging and layout engineers
  • Technical writing skills: capable of creating required engineering documentation
  • Generate and review the technical content of test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, Engineering Change Orders and other documentation
  • Interface with other Engineering disciplines, Operations, Quality and other supporting functions to drive defect resolution to root cause
  • Generate and implement improvements in product and test design and methodologies to reduce cost, increase yield and improve throughput
  • Motivated self-starter who has the ability to work effectively in team environment
  • Provide training and support to technicians and manufacturing personnel as required
  • Lead/Mentor a team of junior engineers
  • Interface with customers and suppliers as required
  • Presentation of design to internal and customer review boards at milestone reviews.
  • Support legacy design obsolescence issues and reverse engineering
  • Experience with Siemens (Mentor) DX Designer
