As a Student Assistant in Embedded Software, you will join the Digital & Product Experiences department in Lyngby, supporting our Embedded Software team working on the Mozart platform – the software foundation for our connected speakers and sound systems. You will assist in developing, testing, and maintaining embedded software for next-generation audio products while gaining valuable practical experience alongside your studies.
Key Responsibilities

Support the development of embedded software in C++ for our Linux-based platform.

Contribute to maintaining and improving development tools, scripts, and automation setups.

Participate in code reviews, debugging, and integration activities.

Assist in developing and testing new product features and system components.

Collaborate closely with experienced software developers, QA engineers, and system integrators in an agile setup.
What You Bring
You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field, and you are eager to apply your theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges in embedded software.
Moreover, you bring:

Basic programming skills in C++ (C++11 or newer preferred).

Interest or experience with Linux-based systems.

Familiarity with development tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Jira.

A structured and curious mindset with strong attention to detail.

Good collaboration skills and a proactive attitude toward learning.

working at the intersection of hardware, software, and acoustics. This is a
part-time position (approximately 10–15 hours per week)
with flexibility during exam periods, allowing you to balance your studies with professional development.
