Software Developer

To strengthen our engineering team, we are looking for a dedicated (embedded) software developer to join us immediately, working across customer projects and the development of our product.

Key words:

C, C++, hardware-software co-design, Embedded C, AMD Vivado / Vitis, AMD FPGA and MPSoC platforms, Raspberry Pi 5, GIT, Jenkins

Your responsibilities:

• Design, development and testing of embedded system modules using C and C++
• Writing clean, testable and maintainable code while designing new architectures and extending existing embedded software modules
• Developing software that interfaces directly with hardware components while also providing user-facing functionality
• Developing host-side software for Windows and Linux systems interacting with embedded devices
• Implementing automated tests and verification strategies to ensure software quality
• Close collaboration with system architects and support for hardware bring-up and low-level system integration

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
• You have 0-5 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong interest and hands-on experience in embedded software development using C / C++
• Experience in python programming for test automation
• Good understanding of hardware–software interaction and system-level design
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation
• Proactive, structured, and self-driven working style
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate
• Experience with modern development tools and workflows (e.g. Git, Jira)

Start date: Immediately / by agreement

Compensation: The minimum annual gross salary is €53.200. The actual salary depends on qualifications and professional experience. As a company, we are subject to the Austrian IT collective agreement.
