About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior RF Engineer to join our R&D development team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing and evolving our communication hardware, supporting robust proprietary networks while driving the adoption of modern wireless technologies such as LoRa and Cellular NB-IoT/Cat-M. This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep RF expertise and full ownership of the RF product lifecycle within the smart metering and IoT domains.
Key Responsibilities

Design and develop advanced RF systems operating in Sub-GHz and cellular frequency bands.

Perform RF circuit and antenna simulations, optimization, and validation.

Collaborate closely with external PCB layout designers to ensure optimal RF routing.

Conduct RF testing, integration, debugging, and troubleshooting of complex RF circuits.

Take full ownership of RF regulatory compliance (FCC, CE, etc.), including preparation, laboratory support, and product certification.

Work closely with internal R&D teams (Hardware, Firmware and System) as well as external vendors and subcontractors.
Technical Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

10+ years of proven experience in RF development.

Proven experience in RF design at relevant frequencies and proficiency with RF simulation tools.

Hands-on experience using RF measurement equipment, including Spectrum Analyzer and Network Analyzer.

Strong background in Ultra-Low Power RF design for battery-operated IoT and smart metering devices.

Hands-on experience with modern RF SoCs, transceivers, cellular modules, and the design of matching networks, power amplifiers (PAs), low-noise amplifiers (LNAs), and RF filters.

Experience leading RF products from concept through mass production, including Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and defining RF testing fixtures and procedures.

Experience in antenna design and characterization - significant advantage.

Proven experience leading FCC and CE compliance testing.
