Job Description

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

  • Design, develop, and support hardware systems and components, including circuit boards, processors, and embedded systems.
  • Perform hardware integration, testing, and validation to ensure systems meet performance and reliability requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues across development, test, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, system engineers, and program stakeholders to ensure seamless hardware/software integration.
  • Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and documentation for system validation and verification.
  • Analyze system requirements and translate them into hardware specifications and design solutions.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Hardware Engineering or a related technical field and a minimum of 4–8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience designing, integrating, and testing hardware systems or components.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and system-level issues and performing root cause analysis.
  • Working knowledge of embedded systems, circuit design, or related hardware components.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability and able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
