We are looking for an experienced Firmware Engineer to join our Firmware team in our Global R&D and innovation center located in Kolding, Denmark. You will be responsible for creating firmware for an efficient, maintainable, and coherent product architecture. 

 

What you'll be doing 

  • Full lifecycle involvement in design, implementation, and validation of embedded C/C++ firmware for UPS Systems, Power Electronics and related secure power technologies 
  • Adopt in-house best practice for code integrity and design validation including adhering to cybersecurity and functional safety requirements  
  • Ensure that the integrity of the system and firmware architecture is maintained throughout the lifecycle of the product 
  • Cross functional collaboration to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality firmware releases 

 

What will help you succeed 

  • A degree in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, or equivalent 
  • Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems 
  • Knowledge of digital control systems 
  • Experience or knowledge in communication protocols, signal processing, and/or tool chains 
  • Experience with embedded Linux, GIT, VHDL, Python, or FPGA is advantageous 
  • Experience with embedded OT cyber security (e.g. CRA, IEC62443, NIS2, etc.) 
  • Experience or understanding safety principles, architectures and/or safety requirement management considered a benefit  
  • Previous involvement in the development of innovative and groundbreaking digital products is also advantageous 
  • Strong organizational skills, focused and detail-oriented approach, well organized and structured with the ability to work effectively against deadlines 
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
