Basingstoke – Hybrid working
Neupulse is at a turning point.
Our wearable neurostimulation device is launching
commercially.
At the heart of that device is firmware. We're looking for a
Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to own it.
The role
Today, our device development is largely handled by an
external partner. You'll be our internal technical authority for it — working
hand in hand with that partner to keep firmware reliable and compliant now,
while building the pathway to bring that capability in-house over time.
It's hands-on, safety-critical work on a device people wear
every day: C/C++ on STM32, FreeRTOS on ARM Cortex-M, low-power and
battery-operated, talking to iOS and Android over BLE.

Why it matters
This is firmware that ends up on someone's body, helping
them through their day — so reliable, safe, and quietly life-improving really
matters.
You'll own how it's built, from working with our external
partner today to standing up the in-house capability tomorrow, and watch the
impact land with real people.
Hybrid role based in Basingstoke, with regular on-site collaboration expected.
