Requirements

-         M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years or a Ph.D. with a minimum of 3 years of experience in analog IC design is required.

The ideal candidate must have (in-depth) knowledge

-         and prior experience with analog and mixed-signal circuit design of blocks such as high-performance low-noise amplifiers (LNA), switched-capacitor circuits, Sigma-Delta A/D converters, filters, low-power data converters (ADC, DAC), PLL, reference circuits, IO circuits, etc., and should be able to guide junior IC design engineers..

-         Of low-power analog design techniques.

-         Of CMOS devices, device matching and optimizing for low noise designs.

-         Of simulation models, design rules, verification procedures (DRC / LVS / ERC), and transistor-level simulations is essential

-         And Experience in MATLAB/Mathcad or Verilog A based system modeling

The candidate should

-         be familiar with digital design

-         be able to drive digital design methodology through a COT design flow.

-         have a good understanding of analog layout for performance

-         be able to supervise layout designers.

-         be hands-on in testing/debugging ICs in the lab environment

-         be able to guide test engineers on ATE.

-         be able to use system modeling or behavioral modeling to verify system level performance

-         have experience in IC evaluation/application board design for testing of silicon and should be able to guide board designers, board layout and troubleshoot the boards.

Competencies

-         Ability to interface with customers during the evaluation/testing phase of the ICs.

-         Clear verbal and written communication skills are required.

-         Must be a self-starter, comfortable working with small teams in a start-up environment.

-         Candidate must have led several projects from specification to IC volume production stages.

Compensation
