SOC Engineer

In this hands-on role, you will be the backbone of the SOC, ensuring that monitoring and protective systems like Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk are optimized for rapid detection. The Role

• Install, configure, and maintain mission-critical security monitoring tools and SIEM platforms feeding into the SOC.
• Optimize security tooling and data ingestion to ensure analysts can detect and respond to incidents at pace.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess architectural risks, design security controls, and define rigorous testing requirements.
• Support senior security engineers with malware analysis platforms, threat intelligence feeds, and complex patch management cycles.
• Proactively monitor the global threat landscape to recommend and implement continuous improvements to defensive postures.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Strong technical foundation in Information Security fundamentals and Network Security (CompTIA Network+ or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with SIEM technologies, specifically Microsoft Sentinel or Splunk.
• Familiarity with cloud security features within Azure or AWS environments.
• Proven ability to manage technical projects, juggle competing priorities, and apply a systematic problem-solving approach.
