What You Will Do
- Design robot software architecture and implement ROS2 nodes, services, and launch systems
- Integrate perception stacks for computer vision, SLAM localization, and sensor fusion pipelines
- Develop motion planning and control loops (trajectory tracking, controller tuning)
- Create simulation-first validation in Gazebo/Isaac Sim and hardware-in-the-loop tests where applicable
- Build data logging, replay tools, and evaluation metrics (latency, drift, success rate, collision rate)

Improve reliability via QA, regression testing, incident analysis, and runbook documentation
- Strong C++ and Python with ROS/ROS2 experience on Linux
- Hands-on understanding of kinematics, dynamics, and control fundamentals
- Experience debugging distributed robot systems (timing, synchronization, TF, QoS)

Familiarity with SLAM, calibration, and sensor fusion (e.g., Kalman filtering)
- Competitive hourly rate: $30–$50/hr (USD)
- Remote, full-time roles with cross-time-zone collaboration
