ATDI Inc. is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to join its US team in Tysons, Virginia. This full-time role (hybrid considered) combines RF engineering, technical consultancy, product demonstrations, training and client engagement across civil and defence markets.
The successful candidate will apply their expertise in radio network planning, spectrum management, communications systems and electronic warfare to support customers throughout the project lifecycle. The role also contributes to pre-sales activity, technical studies, software implementation and product development.

Success in this position means delivering technically robust work, building trusted client relationships and communicating complex RF concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. The RF Engineer will play an important role in strengthening ATDI's presence in North America while working closely with engineering, product development and commercial teams worldwide.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients across civil and defence sectors.

Deliver technical product demonstrations, consultancy services and customer presentations.

Conduct RF engineering studies, including radio-planning, propagation and coverage analysis, field measurements and technical reporting.

Provide professional training on ATDI software for radio planning, spectrum management and cartographic data management.

Support customers with cartographic data conversion, configuration and implementation.

Advise clients on RF engineering, spectrum management, and communications planning requirements.

Contribute technical expertise to RFQs, RFPs, tenders and other pre-sales activities.

Support pre-sales discussions and help define technically appropriate customer solutions.

Develop requirements specifications and contribute to software customisation and product development.

Represent ATDI at industry conferences, trade shows, customer meetings and marketing events.

Work independently while collaborating with colleagues across ATDI's international organisation.
Qualifications:

A degree in RF engineering, telecommunications, electrical engineering or a related technical discipline.

Demonstrable hands-on experience in RF engineering at mid-to-senior level.

Strong knowledge of radio communication systems, propagation modelling and RF network planning.

Experience in spectrum management, radio-planning tools or electronic warfare environments.

An understanding of cartographic data and its application within RF modelling and planning.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent presentation, consulting and client engagement skills.

The ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

Proficiency in English for client-facing, technical and reporting responsibilities.
