Role Description This is an on-site internship role for a Quantum Computing Developer based in Paris center, in very calm & sophisticated workspace atmosphere. The intern will contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of quantum and hybrid algorithms, working closely with senior researchers and developers on WYW Quantum. Daily responsibilities include writing and optimizing code, integrating quantum routines with classical back-end systems, and assisting in the development of tools. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting technical work, participating in code reviews. The intern will also help analyze performance, prepare technical reports, and stay informed on recent developments in quantum computing and PQC.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and computational theory.
  • Hands-on experience with Software Development and Programming, preferably in languages such as Python, C++, or Rust.
  • Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and integration with distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in building modular, scalable software.
  • Familiarity with quantum computing principles, quantum circuits, or quantum algorithms is highly beneficial.
  • Experience with Linux-based development environments, version control (Git), and collaborative coding workflows.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems, work in a team-oriented research environment, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Currently pursuing or having completed a degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
