Basic Qualifications

5+ years experience in digital, analog, RF, and hybrid PCB layout designs

Familiarity with eCAD tools - such as, Siemens' Xpedition, Zuken CR-8000, Altium Designer, or similar

Job Description
Join us at Lockheed Martin as a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Engineer working for one of the top companies in the world. You will be part of a fast-paced group within the Lockheed Martin Space division, working with an interdisciplinary engineering team supporting design of high-performance, high-reliability hardware.
In this role, you will be responsible for the design and layout of Printed Circuit Card Assemblies ranging from 2-layer quick turn boards to complex, high-density, high-layer Software Defined Radios and other RF boards. Designs may include space-qualified boards with blind/buried/micro vias, bare die, and wire-bonding focusing on minimizing overall size, weight, and power.
In addition, you will work with engineers and other designers to perform DFM reviews, and communicate directly with vendors for procurement and resolving questions.

Xpedition experience is preferred

Understanding of stackup definition, via structures, impedance control, differential pairs, cross-talk, EMI/EMC, shielding, high speed routing, thermal management, and other common design strategies.

Experience with Signal Integrity and Power Integrity circuit simulation and analysis tools, such as Hyperlynx or similar.

Experience preparing and reviewing board and assembly design packages.

Familiarity with version management systems (Git, SVN, PDM, PLM, etc.).

Ability to read and interpret schematic and mechanical engineering drawings.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience working directly with advanced high complexity SMT vendors.

Familiarity with IPC-A-600 Class II and III, as well as other applicable IPC standards for PCB Design.

Organized and able to track multiple concurrent projects at once

Active TS/SCI security clearance
