Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Pune Division for an Motor Control Firmware Engineer. The role involves developing and programming embedded software, debugging, and enhancing software systems related to BLDC, PMSM and Linear Motors.


Daily responsibilities include building Data Acquistion systems, Sensor Integration, Internet of Things (IoT) projects, contributing to software development for innovative motion technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions for linear electromagnetic systems.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Embedded Software Programming and Debugging specifically related to Motor Control Firmware.
  • Experience in BLDC/PMSM Motor Control Strategy Development and working on Internet of Things (IoT) applications
  • Understanding of sensorless FOC, back-EMF/observer/PLL methods, and practical challenges in tuning control loops.
  • Hands-on experience with motor control toolchains (TI InstaSPIN, ST Motor Control SDK, Microchip Motor Control Library, etc.).
  • Proficient in C / C++, debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers), and Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate within cross-disciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of electronics and embedded systems design is highly desirable
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with electronics development tools and hardware debugging tools is a plus
