We are looking for :


We are looking for a talented and passionat e Linux Kernel Engine er to join our embedded software team working on next-generation systems for a leading automotive client. In this role, you will contribute to Linux kernel development, device driver implementation, and system-level optimization for embedded platforms. If you enjoy low-level programming, solving complex technical challenges, and working close to the hardware, we'd love to meet you.


What you will do:


  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Linux kernel components for embedded systems.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Linux kernel modules and device drivers (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN).Debug and resolve kernel-level issues using tools such as kgdb, ftrace, perf, crash, and dmesg.
  • Improve system performance, optimize memory usage, and reduce boot times.
  • Integrate and customize Board Support Packages (BSPs) and hardware abstraction layers for SoC-based platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with embedded software engineers developing C/C++ user-space applications.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to process scheduling, interrupts, concurrency, and memory management.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high-quality software standards.
  • Work closely with hardware, firmware, and application teams throughout the development lifecycle.


What you need to have:



  • Strong programming skil l s in C for embedded or low-level software development.
  • Solid understanding of Linux kernel architecture and internals.
  • Hands-on experience developing Linux device drivers or kernel modules.
  • Good knowledge of Linux process scheduling, memory management, and kernel synchronization mechanisms (spinlocks, mutexes,etc.).
  • Experience working with Embedded Linux platforms.
  • Familiarity with kernel-user space communication (system calls, ioctl,etc.).
  • Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in English, both spoken and written.



It would be a plus if you have experience with:


  • Build systems such as Yocto, Buildroot, Kbuild,or Make.
  • Linux tracing and performance analysis tools.
  • Cross-compilation toolchains for embedded platforms.
  • SoC-based embedded systems and BSP customization.
  • Automotive embedded software development.
  • C++ development in embedded environments.
