We at Danfoss Power Solutions are looking for a Lead Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) in Neumünster
This role is pivotal in shaping the future of mobile machinery. You’ll not only contribute to developing the next generation of our PLUS+1 Operating System platform—used in construction, agriculture, and off-highway vehicles—but also provide technical leadership and act as a key link between our team in Neumünster and our colleagues in Pune, India. Your work will directly impact performance, safety, and innovation in the field.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Translating specifications and data sheets into reliable embedded software
  • Capturing and managing requirements using modern tools
  • Designing and implementing drivers for real-time embedded systems
  • Contributing to safety-critical software development
  • Collaborating with international engineering teams across Danfoss
  • Providing technical guidance to the team in India and act as an interface to the Neumünster team, ensuring alignment and smooth collaboration

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in embedded software development using C
  • Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures (e.g., Cortex-M, TriCore) and interfaces like CAN, SPI, I2C
  • Practical debugging experience (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes, protocol analyze
  • Great communication skills and ability to align teams across geographies
  • Ideally experience in technical leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Fluency in Englis
