Job Description

We are hiring a Jr. Analog Design Engineer for a full-time opportunity in Endicott, NY. This role will support the design, analysis, simulation, verification, testing, and troubleshooting of analog and mixed-signal circuit card assemblies used in complex electronic systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with analog circuit design, PCB/PWB support, schematic capture, signal integrity, high-speed interfaces, and FPGA or microcontroller interface circuits.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, simulate, and verify analog and mixed-signal circuits.
  • Support circuit card assembly design, including part selection, schematic capture, PWB/layout support, and design verification.
  • Work with FPGA and microcontroller interfaces such as PCIe, SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, DDR, Ethernet, ARINC, and 1553.
  • Support high-speed interface design and signal integrity analysis.
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting of systems, modules, sub-assemblies, and digital/analog hardware.
  • Collaborate with PWB packaging/layout engineers, manufacturing, quality, operations, and engineering teams.
  • Generate and review engineering documentation including test procedures, drawings, specifications, reports, and ECOs.
  • Support defect resolution, root-cause analysis, legacy design support, obsolescence, and reverse engineering.
  • Help improve product/test designs to reduce cost, improve yield, and increase throughput.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Experience with analog, mixed-signal, digital, or hardware circuit design.
  • Experience with PCB/PWB design support, circuit card assemblies, schematic capture, or board-level electronics.
  • Exposure to FPGA or microcontroller interfaces.
  • Ability to support testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and design verification.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Siemens Mentor DX Designer.
  • Experience with HyperLynx or signal integrity tools.
  • Knowledge of EMI, lightning protection, or high-voltage power design.
  • Experience with PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, ARINC, or 1553.
  • Aerospace, defense, industrial, or complex electronics experience.
  • Experience supporting board layout, PWB packaging, manufacturing, technicians, or root-cause analysis.
