Flight Segment and Robotics
business unit, contributing directly to current developments while driving future innovations.
As part of the
Space Avionics and Equipment
division, you will help advance cutting‑edge flight hardware with a focus on
digital embedded SoC solutions
and breakthrough avionics concepts, playing a central role in both project execution and R&D activities.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
As an intern, your role will span the full lifecycle of innovative flight technologies, including:
-
Co‑designing and developing embedded software for cutting‑edge, space‑resilient System‑on‑Chip platforms, heterogeneous processors, adaptive computing accelerators, VPUs, L‑GPUs, TPUs, and other emerging architectures.

Collaborating on Model‑Based Design workflows and deployments targeting manycore heterogeneous devices.
-
Designing and implementing heterogeneous systems built on RISC‑V and SPARC architectures for aerospace applications.
-
Exploring and integrating embedded machine‑learning inference acceleration using digital and mixed‑signal accelerator technologies.
-
Prototyping high‑performance solutions for SDR and neural‑network‑based applications optimized for heterogeneous architectures in space environments.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
We are looking for students pursuing
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Industrial, Computer, or Telecommunications Engineering—
or a related field
—with a focus on programmable digital HW/SW.
We’re looking for someone who can bring the following strengths to the team:

Solid proficiency in digital hardware design and development.

Experience working with FPGAs, SoC‑based implementations, and real‑time operating systems.

Familiarity with space‑segment technologies and involvement in aerospace‑related projects.

Background in Model‑Based Design, multicore systems, and heterogeneous architectures based on RISC‑V and SPARC.

Hands‑on experience in adaptive embedded software and neural‑network‑based projects.

RTEMS and TSP hypervisors

Fault‑tolerant system design

Machine‑learning inference on embedded platforms (DNNs, CNNs, SNNs)
