What You'll Bring

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline.

7–8+ years
of hands-on experience in PCB design, firmware development, and embedded hardware.

Strong expertise in
EV charger hardware
, power electronics, and controller design.
-
Proven experience implementing
ISO 15118-20
communication protocols.
-
Solid understanding of
V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid)
and
G2V (Grid-to-Vehicle)
communication.
-
Experience with
EV charging testers
, protocol analyzers, validation tools, and interoperability testing.
-
Strong knowledge of schematic design, PCB layout, EMC/EMI considerations, signal integrity, and DFM/DFT practices.
-
Experience with embedded firmware development using C/C++ on ARM/MCU platforms.
-
Ability to debug hardware, firmware, and communication protocol issues independently.
-
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesEmbedded Hardware & PCB Design
-
Design high-quality single-layer, double-layer, and multi-layer PCBs following industry best practices.
-
Create schematics in collaboration with electronics and RF engineering teams.
-
Optimize PCB layout, routing, signal integrity, thermal management, and manufacturability.
-
Maintain CAD libraries, symbols, footprints, and design standards.
-
Generate complete manufacturing documentation, including:
-
Schematics
-
PCB Layouts
-
Gerber Files
-
Assembly Drawings
-
Fabrication Drawings
-
Bill of Materials (BOM)
Firmware Development
-
Design and develop embedded firmware for EV charger controllers and intelligent embedded devices.
-
Integrate communication interfaces and optimize firmware performance.
-
Debug and enhance firmware for production-ready products.
EV Charging & Communication
-
Implement and validate
ISO 15118-20
communication stacks.
-
Support
DB2605 re-engineering
initiatives.
-
Develop and validate
EV Testers
and
Charging Adapter
solutions.
-
Work on smart charging, bidirectional charging, V2G/G2V communication, and grid integration.
-
Perform interoperability testing with various EVs and charging infrastructure.
Validation & Product Development
-
Support manufacturing, testing, certification, and production.
-
Troubleshoot complex hardware and firmware issues.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the complete product lifecycle.
-
Ensure products meet quality, reliability, cost, and project schedule objectives.
-
Mentor junior engineers and contribute technical expertise during architecture and design reviews.
