Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hardware Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The Hardware Engineer will design, develop, and test electronics hardware for smart home automation products, focusing on reliable performance, safety, and integration with IoT platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing circuit schematics, selecting electronic components, working closely with firmware and software teams, and supporting prototype and production builds. The role also involves debugging hardware issues, optimizing designs for manufacturability and cost, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and documenting hardware designs and test results in a clear, organized manner.


Qualifications

  • Strong hardware development skills, including experience with end-to-end hardware lifecycle from concept to production.
  • Proficiency in circuit design and analysis, with the ability to create and review schematics and PCB layouts.
  • Hands-on experience with electronics hardware design for embedded or IoT devices, including sensors, communication modules, and power management.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware interfaces and protocols relevant to smart home and automation systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience using industry-standard EDA tools, lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers), and hardware debugging techniques.
  • Understanding of EMC/EMI considerations, safety standards, and design for manufacturability and reliability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with clear communication and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience in IoT, smart home devices, or consumer electronics is an advantage.
