Hardware Engineer

The Role

• Contribute to the development of high-performance hardware essential for large-scale cloud computing infrastructure.

• Solve systemic issues and drive changes in development processes to improve operational efficiency at the edge and in data centers.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts across compute, memory, and storage technologies to enhance customer experience.

• Interface with internal and external customers to gather project requirements and facilitate system development.

• Develop and manufacture products at scale by working directly with vendors and design teams.

• Address operational challenges to improve existing fleet performance and design improved systems for future products.

What You'll Need

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

• 5+ years of experience with complex server, storage, or network server designs.

• 5+ years of experience developing functional specifications, design verification plans, functional test procedures, and operational repair plans.

• 5+ years of experience with debugging and root cause analysis of PCIe, memory, storage subsystems, or networking.

• 3+ years of advanced support experience managing customer escalations in a large-scale production environment.

• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams from concept to production.
