Hardware Engineer

1/ JOB DISCRIPTION

• Receive requests and collaborate with other departments to propose appropriate solutions.
• Design project solution diagrams.
• Select components and create schematic designs for products.
• Work with the mechanical team to design board outlines and layouts for project boards.
• Prepare fabrication files, BOM, and requests for PCB manufacturing; manage inventory and component procurement.
• Assemble, solder, and test boards as well as designs.
• Evaluate quality and prepare reports.
• Prepare documentation and hand over products.
• Provide electronic engineering support to other departments when required.

2/ REQUIEREMENTS

• 6 months – 1 year of experience as a Hardware Engineer.
• Knowledge of electronic components, microcontrollers, communication protocols, etc.
• Understanding of PCB protection, EMI/EMC, signal integrity, power integrity, and crosstalk.
• Knowledge of stack-up design, 2–6 layer PCB design, and high-speed signal layout.
• Proficiency in PCB design using Altium Designer.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents in English.
• Fluency in English communication is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of Carrier board design for SoM, SoC, and mini PCs is an advantage.
