The Opportunity

As a Hardware Developer / PCB Designer, you will own the complete hardware development lifecycle, from architecture and circuit design through PCB layout, prototyping, validation, manufacturing, and production support.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across, software, engineering, product development, and manufacturing to transform concepts into reliable, scalable products.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineering leader who combines deep technical expertise with creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for innovation.


Key Responsibilities

Design Next-Generation Hardware Solutions

  • Develop analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronic designs for advanced consumer products and technology platforms.
  • Create hardware architectures from initial concept through production.
  • Design reliable and high-performance electronic systems optimized for functionality, cost, and manufacturability.

PCB Design & Hardware Development

  • Create complex schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using industry-standard CAD tools.
  • Design high-speed PCB systems while optimizing signal integrity, power integrity, thermal performance, and EMC/EMI compliance.
  • Support prototype development, hardware bring-up, testing, debugging, and validation.

Product Development & Manufacturing Support

  • Manage hardware development through the complete product lifecycle.
  • Prepare production documentation including BOMs, fabrication files, assembly drawings, and test procedures.
  • Collaborate with PCB manufacturers, suppliers, and contract manufacturing partners.
  • Support design reviews and continuously improve engineering processes.

Cross-Functional Innovation

  • Partner with, software, manufacturing, and product teams.
  • Translate product requirements into scalable hardware solutions.
  • Contribute technical expertise to new product concepts and future technology initiatives.


Required Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in hardware development and PCB design.
  • Strong expertise in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, KiCad, or equivalent.
  • Experience designing complex multilayer PCBs (6–16+ layers).
  • Deep knowledge of:
  • High-speed digital design
  • Analog circuit design
  • Power electronics
  • Signal integrity (SI)
  • Power integrity (PI)
  • EMC/EMI compliance
  • Thermal considerations
  • Experience with hardware interfaces including USB, Ethernet, SPI, I²C, CAN, UART, PCIe, and DDR memory.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Experience supporting products through manufacturing and production.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with embedded systems and ARM-based microcontrollers.
  • FPGA development experience.
  • Knowledge of wireless technologies including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, or BLE.
  • Understanding of IPC standards and DFM/DFA methodologies.
  • Experience with FCC, CE, UL, or other regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Background in consumer electronics, IoT, smart devices, medical technology, or industrial systems.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 USD annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
