Job Description: Firmware Validation Engineer (Windows BIOS/FW)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Firmware Validation Engineer with strong expertise in Windows BIOS and firmware validation. The role involves driving validation cycles, debugging complex issues, and ensuring high-quality firmware releases across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform weekly and bi-weekly manual validation of Windows BIOS and firmware across multiple platforms
• Identify issues, conduct deep-dive debugging , and drive resolution with BIOS/FW development teams
• Own validation of critical firmware components:
• UEFI
• ACPI
• Security
• Power Management
• Windows Boot Flow
• Analyze failures, document observations, and provide clear validation reports aligned with quality goals
• Participate in cross-functional triage and root cause analysis to improve firmware quality
• Support platform bring-up and validation readiness

• Automation skills in Python
• Exposure to AI-assisted development/testing tools
• Basic programming knowledge for validation enhancement

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in:
• Computer Science
• Electronics / Electrical Engineering
• Or related discipline
