Are you passionate about embedded firmware development and server platform management? We are looking for a Firmware Design Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and validation of next-generation server and switch platforms.

📍 Position: Firmware Design Engineer

Experience: Relevant Embedded Firmware Development Experience

Education: BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

What You'll Do

• Board, BIOS, and BSP bring-up activities for server platforms
• Design, develop, and customize firmware for BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) on Intel processor-based servers
• Develop Linux device drivers for interfaces such as I2C, SPI, SMBus, and UART
• Perform firmware bring-up, testing, debugging, and validation
• Prepare detailed design and technical documentation
• Develop new features, conduct unit testing, and resolve defects
• Participate in code reviews and design reviews
• Collaborate with hardware teams to understand schematics and resolve system-level issues

Required Skills & Experience

✅ Strong programming skills in C/C++

✅ Hands-on experience with:

• Embedded Firmware Development
• Linux-based systems and Linux Device Drivers
• Board bring-up, debugging, and validation
• Hardware interfaces: I2C, SPI, SMBus, UART
• BMC Firmware Development
• Intel Server Architecture

✅ Good understanding of:

• ARM Architecture
• IPMI Protocol
• Yocto
• REST APIs
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Quality processes and engineering best practices

✅ Ability to:

• Read and understand hardware schematics
• Work closely with hardware design teams
• Debug and troubleshoot independently

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Knowledge of Linux Kernel Internals

⭐ Scripting experience (Shell, Python, etc.)

⭐ Experience working in Linux-based embedded environments
