Role Description The Embedded System Engineer will work on-site at the Indore campus in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of embedded systems for academic and research projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and testing embedded software, integrating hardware and software components, and collaborating with faculty and student teams on IoT and electronics-based applications. The role involves circuit and system-level troubleshooting, documentation of designs and test procedures, and supporting laboratory setups and demonstrations for teaching and innovation activities. The engineer will also be expected to stay current with emerging embedded technologies, contribute to project planning, and ensure solutions meet performance, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Embedded Software and related embedded system programming.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Electronics and Electrical Engineering for circuit design and hardware integration.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Internet of Things (IoT) for connected devices and sensor-based applications.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Software Development, including coding, debugging, and version control.
  • Master’s degree (M. Tech) in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and development platforms (e.g., ARM, Arduino, Raspberry Pi) is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with embedded operating systems, communication protocols, and real-time systems is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary academic environments.
