Embedded Software Engineer

Quectel Wireless Solutions is global IoT technology developer and cellular module supplier of 5G, LTE, LTE-A, LPWA, Smart Module, C-V2X, GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSPA(+) and GNSS modules. Due to business expansion on Serbian market in R&D Centre, Quectel is looking for motivated and proactive candidates to join our team in Belgrade.

We are looking for: Embedded Software Engineer

Job summary: We are seeking Embedded Software Engineers to join our different teams across multiple projects and domains, where you'll play a vital role in designing, developing, and optimizing cutting-edge embedded systems. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, work on innovative technologies, and contribute to impactful solutions in a market leading company.

Required qualifications:

• Technical related degree and more than 1 year of relevant experience
• Experience in C/C++ programming
• Experience with RTOS
• Familiarity with different communication protocols
• Familiarity with embedded software development
• Fluency in English

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for software development and maintenance of projects
• Assist in the testing and support work of FAE and software promotion projects, and providing necessary support and guidance to relevant terms
• Responsible for outputting relevant software functional design documents and software functional technical guidance documents
• Review important issues and output technical summary analysis reports
