Your Mission Will Be

• Design and develop protection, automation, and control (PAC) algorithms and applications for modern power systems;
• Model and simulate realistic energy systems, validating PAC behavior using tools such as Matlab, Simscape Electrical, and Simulink;
• Define hardware requirements and translate control algorithms into efficient real-time embedded software solutions;
• Contribute across the full development lifecycle, from concept and architecture to implementation and testing;
• Collaborate within an R&D environment that values teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  
  

You Will Need

• A degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus or background in Power Systems;
• Solid understanding of energy systems operation and strong interest in protection, automation, and control;
• Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with simulation environments such as Matlab/Simulink;
• A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously and in teams;
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.
  
  

Would Be Awesome If You Have

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields;
• Knowledge of embedded systems, multithreading concepts, and real-time constraints;
• Familiarity with DSP, FPGA, and communication technologies used in power systems;
• Basic experience with Linux, electronics, and laboratory instrumentation;
• Hands-on use of version control systems such as Git or SVN.
