Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop software units in project and library context.
  • Select and implement verification measures for software units and components (e.g. Code Reviews, Unit Tests).
  • Integrate software elements and perform integration verification.
  • Evaluate and manage toolchains for embedded systems software development.
  • Implement Git-based version control systems to manage code history and team collaboration.
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub, automating build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Implement monitoring solutions to track build performance and test results, providing insightful reports.
  • Document processes and provide training to team members on toolchain and CI/CD usage.
  • Participation in stand-ups / project meetings with an international team.

Your Qualifications:

Required

  • Graduate Degree in Software Engineering, Electronics, Natural Science or Computer Science.
  • +4 years of experience in embedded software development.
  • Strong skills in programming languages C and C++ [BREITES KNOW HOW von BASIS SW BIS APPLICATION SW].
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and toolchain management, particularly for embedded systems.
  • Experience in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and documentation.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required for effective communication and collaboration.

Preferred

  • Experience with security integration and regulatory compliance for embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and standards for coding and compliance.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban development methodologies.
  • Ability to lead training sessions and provide technical support to team members.
  • Experience in integrating and optimizing monitoring and reporting solutions.
  • Experienced in developing condition monitoring systems, sensor applications or motor controls is preferred.
