Embedded Hardware Design Engineer

VETiNSTANT designs innovative, non-invasive handheld devices to revolutionize animal healthcare. These devices empower pet caregivers to gather clinically accurate data effortlessly without causing pain or requiring technical expertise. By enabling early, precise diagnostics, VETiNSTANT aims to help veterinarians provide timely care to pets and reduce the need for physical hospital visits. Based on the belief that good data is key to better outcomes, VETiNSTANT’s solutions open pathways to preventive and predictive care. Current projects include ExamD, a diagnostic device for dogs, with future innovations planned for other animals.

The Embedded Hardware Design Engineer will design, test, and optimize embedded hardware systems for VETiNSTANT's innovative animal healthcare devices. Daily responsibilities include creating circuit designs, developing PCB layouts, prototyping, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software systems. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai, requiring close collaboration with the engineering team.

• Proficiency in Circuit Design and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Layout
• Experience with Embedded Systems, Microcontrollers, and Firmware Development
• Knowledge of Signal Integrity, Power Electronics, and Analog/Digital Circuitry
• Proficiency in Testing, Debugging, and Validation of Hardware Designs
• Familiarity with Product Development Lifecycle and Compliance Testing Standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Prior experience in healthcare device development is an added advantage
