We’re looking for a hands-on embedded systems engineer with deep experience in PMSM and BLDC motor control, who thrives in fast-paced development cycles and wants to make a meaningful impact on real-world motion systems.
Role Overview
This internship is ideal for a student currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering, with a strong interest in embedded systems and motor control. You'll work directly with our engineering team to learn and contribute to firmware development for real production and prototype hardware — not simulations or toy projects.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and testing embedded firmware for motor control systems, including exposure to FOC (Field Oriented Control) and SVPWM algorithms.

Support implementation and tuning of sensored/sensorless control routines for PMSM/BLDC motors under guidance from senior engineers.

Work hands-on with microcontrollers such as STM32, TI C2000, or PIC for firmware development and hardware bring-up.

Help build and run test routines — current/voltage protection checks, stall detection, basic diagnostics.

Support PID loop tuning and system-level testing (current/torque/speed loops) alongside the core team.

Collaborate with hardware and mechanical teams during board bring-up and integration testing.

Maintain clear documentation of test results and contribute to version-controlled firmware repositories (Git).
Required Skills & Experience

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Robotics Engineering (or related field).

Solid foundation in C/C++ programming and basic embedded systems concepts.

Coursework or project experience with microcontrollers (STM32, Arduino, TI, PIC, or similar).

Exposure to motor control concepts (PMSM/BLDC, PWM, PID) through coursework, projects, or personal builds is a strong plus.

Familiarity with basic lab tools like oscilloscopes/multimeters is a plus, though not mandatory.

Genuine interest in motor control, power electronics, or robotics — self-driven learners who like to tinker are a great fit.
