Automotive Embedded / Telematics Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Automotive Embedded / Telematics Engineer who can quickly adapt to Connected Car Unit (CCU) validation activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automotive communication, OTA updates, diagnostics logging, and telematics systems, with the ability to ramp up on CCU architecture and workflows.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work on testing, of automotive ECUs, with focus on gateway with telematics-related systems
  • Analyze and debug CAN communication using industry-standard tools
  • Support OTA (Over-the-Air) software update activities , including validation and issue analysis
  • Work with DLT logs for root cause analysis and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, system, testing, backend)
  • Support vehicle-level testing, issue reproduction, and defect reporting
  • Assist in requirement understanding, verification, and documentation
  • Required Skills & Experience

    • Experience in automotive embedded systems or telematics domain
    • Good understanding of CAN and ethernet communication (CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, basic UDS knowledge preferred)
    • Hands-on exposure to OTA update processes and validation
    • Experience working with DLT logging and analysis
    • Knowledge of telematics systems , connected vehicle features, or backend interactions
    • Familiarity with automotive development or testing tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer, similar)
    • Ability to analyse logs, identify root causes, and clearly document findings
    • Experience: 4 to 5 years
    • Class B Driving license would be preferable.
