Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer

Richtek is seeking Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineers for our North American Business Group. Position available in the following product areas: Hot-Swap controller, Electronic Circuit Breakers, USB-C load switches, Ideal-diode controller and Power Monitoring products. Process technologies include advanced CMOS and BCD technology.

Responsibilities

• Functional IP blocks design including reference, low offset amplifier, general purpose amplifiers & comparators, gate driver, oscillator, I & V DAC and ADC
• Floor planning and hands-on supervision of the layout
• Collaborate w/ the DRD on the RTL development
• AMS simulation of the whole chip including the RTL developed by the DRD
• Work with test engineer to develop the ATE system
• Work with Field Sales, Applications Engineering and Product Marketing on the Go-to-Market Plan
• Help sales teams capture design-wins at key customers

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have a successful track record of defining and designing high-performance power management products that have had commercial success.

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years analog/mixed signal IC development
• Good English communication skills
