Qualifications
The ideal candidates will possess relevant educational backgrounds and extensive industry experience. For the Senior ASIC Designer role, a BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field with at least 10 years of mixed-signal ASIC design experience is required. Experience in the full cycle of ASIC development, including simulation, verification, and tape-out, is essential. Familiarity with analog ASIC design tools such as Synopsys and Cadence, as well as digital design and simulation platforms like System Verilog, VHDL, QuestaSim, or Xcelium, is necessary. MATLAB or equivalent modeling tools should be well understood. Candidates should also have a solid grasp of project management processes and electrical testing equipment.
The Lead Wireless Engineer should hold a BS in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience, including over 3 years specifically in wireless or RF domains. Knowledge of digital design, control systems, and wireless protocols is vital. Experience with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and protocol analyzers, as well as PWA board bring-up and system integration, is preferred.
The Firmware Embedded Linux Engineer requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience working with embedded Linux, including OS customization and kernel module development, is mandatory. Additionally, at least 5 years of object-oriented software development in C++ and experience with software tools like emulators and debuggers are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
The Senior ASIC Designer will lead the development of mixed-signal and digital ASICs, guiding the design process from concept through to production. Responsibilities include defining specifications, developing verification plans, and supporting integration with firmware and hardware teams. The role involves modeling and testing prototypes, ensuring compliance with specifications, and staying current with technological advancements. The candidate will also participate in all phases of product introduction, including architecture, documentation, testing, and manufacturing support.
The Lead Wireless Engineer will evaluate and select wireless modules and protocols suitable for MR systems, ensuring high reliability and efficiency. Responsibilities include designing and implementing wireless circuits, conducting rigorous testing in RF environments, and supporting system integration. The engineer will also collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve wireless communication issues, contribute to product documentation, and support manufacturing and customer escalations.
The Firmware Embedded Linux Engineer will develop and maintain embedded software platforms for MR systems, working closely with hardware teams to ensure software and hardware integration. Responsibilities include customizing Linux distributions, developing kernel modules, performing code reviews, and supporting system testing. The engineer will participate in architectural decisions, improve software processes, and ensure the delivery of reliable and high-performance firmware solutions aligned with project goals.
