Job Description

Subatron is a Swiss deep-tech startup developing next-generation underwater communication and sensing systems for divers, autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), and maritime operations.


Our technology combines embedded electronics, signal processing, underwater acoustics, robotics, and advanced communication systems. We are looking for a motivated student to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge underwater technology.


Tasks

  • Support the design and testing of electronic circuits

  • Assist with PCB design and hardware validation

  • Develop and test embedded systems and firmware

  • Build and characterize prototypes in the lab

  • Support field testing and product development

  • Work closely with founders and engineers on real products


Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a BSc, MSc, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, Computer Engineering, or a related field

  • Interest in embedded systems and electronics development

  • Experience with C/C++ programming

  • Basic understanding of microcontrollers and electronic circuits

  • Hands-on mentality and willingness to learn

  • Ability to work independently in a startup environment


Bonus Skills:



  • PCB design (KiCad, Altium, or similar)

  • Analog electronics

  • Signal processing

  • STM32 or similar microcontrollers

  • Robotics or embedded firmware development
