As a Wireless ASIC/FPGA Prototyping Design Engineer, you will work in a team developing signal processing intensive design for wireless communication SoCs. You will be at the center of the silicon design group with a meaningful role getting functional products to millions of customers quickly. nnWouldn’t you love a dynamic, yet challenging role as a Wireless FPGA Prototype Design Engineer here at Apple?

Minimum Qualifications

BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experiencenExperience in FPGA flownKnowledge of digital design, chip architecture and microarchitecturenExperience in Scripting and modeling language experience (Shell, C, Python or Perl)nHand on experience in lab equipment, hardware bring-up and debug in lab

Preferred Qualifications

Strong background in computer architecture and wireless applications, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Bus fabric and peripherals, APB/AHB/AXI, USB, I2C, SPI and JTAGnSystem debug architecturenWireless standards, such as IEEE 802.11 and BluetoothnFamiliar with AMD’s flow including design entry in Verilog, synthesis, place and route, timing constraints and timing closurenHands on experience with lab equipment, such as JTAG, oscilloscope, logic analyzer and LitePointnSolid skill in problem solving, FW/HW development nExperience with emulation platform, such as PalladiumnExcellent communication skills and self-motivationnAbility to collaborate and drive production test/QA methodologies

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.u003cbru003eu003cbru003eApple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
