Lead and mentor a team of 5-10 design engineers, including regular feedback and support for professional growth as well as hiring at the Dresden site
Plan and coordinate technical work packages, distribute tasks within the team, track progress, and ensure high-quality project execution
Define architectures and specifications for analog/mixed-signal circuits, including schematic design, simulation, and post-layout verification
Drive continuous improvement of AMS design flows, methodologies, documentation, and best practices across projects
Design and implement mixed-signal IPs such as Data Converters, PLLs, SerDes, and Memories in advanced CMOS technologies (28nm, 22nm, and below)
Support project acquisition and planning, as well as effort estimations to align design goals with product requirements
Requirements
University degree (Dipl.-Ing., M.Sc., or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
At least 5 years experience in Analog and Mixed-Signal and/or RF circuit design
Hands-on experience with system architecture, schematic design, layout implementation, as well as circuit modeling (VerilogA, VerilogAMS, SystemVerilog)
Proven experience leading technical teams or work packages, including task planning, delegation, mentoring, and technical decision-making
Ability to balance hands-on technical contribution with people leadership, project execution, and methodology development
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
Professional communication skills in English and German
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the development, documentation and distribution of design methodology
Hands-on experience with IC design in advanced-node CMOS technologies
