Job Description

Do you want to use your technical expertise to create unique IT solutions?

Your Role

At Blue Line, a growing international technology company, we are looking for a skilled System Architect & Hardware Engineer to join our R&D team. If you have a strong technical mindset and a passion for designing and specifying hardware solutions for demanding environments, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As part of our R&D team, you will play a central role in developing tailored embedded computer solutions. You will manage your own projects – from idea to reality – while also contributing to shared development activities. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you will work closely with both customers and colleagues to transform complex needs into concrete solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess customer needs and create system designs combining hardware, software, and system integration.
  • Take ownership of your own development projects from start to finish.
  • Daily interaction and sparring with rest of the R&D team.
  • Work closely with the sales team to prepare technical proposals and customer presentations.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for both internal and external use. Keep track of new technologies and industry trends to strengthen our solutions.

Your Profile

We are looking for a senior, self-starting, independent, proactive, and solution-oriented team player who takes responsibility for results. Ideally, you bring:

  • A relevant degree in engineering/computer science or 5+ years of practical experience with HW systems.
  • Strong expertise in Intel x86 platforms, AMD, and NVIDIA GPUs – from embedded to high-performance server level.
  • Broad technical understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, RTOS), networking, cybersecurity, interfacing, I/O, and mechanical integration.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build positive relationships at all levels.
  • Fluency in Danish and English (Swedish/Norwegian is a plus).

What We Offer

At Blue Line, you will be part of a dynamic and international work environment where your contributions make a real difference. We offer:

  • Collaboration with highly skilled and experienced colleagues.
  • An open and informal company culture where initiative and innovation are valued.
  • Strong opportunities for both professional and personal development.
  • Competitive salary, pension, and health insurance.
  • Attractive lunch scheme and employee benefits.
