Role Description

This is a hybrid Internship role for a Laptop Hardware Engineer, based in Long Beach, CA, with some flexibility for remote work. As part of the team, the intern will assist with hardware design, prototyping, and testing of ergonomic gaming laptops. Daily responsibilities will include collaborating with the engineering team, conducting performance analysis, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the optimization of hardware components. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in an innovative startup environment, gaining hands-on experience in the development of cutting-edge gaming technology.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in hardware design and prototyping, including experience with electronic components and circuit design
• Knowledge in thermal management, materials science, and hardware optimization techniques
• Basic skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging hardware-related issues
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools used for hardware modeling and simulation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in a dynamic, team-oriented startup environment
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Passion for gaming and interest in creating ergonomic hardware solutions
