Overview
Synaptics is looking for a Sr. RF/Analog Design Engineer to join our dynamic and growingteam in Sophia Antipolis Technology park. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate design engineer to join a successful, experienced team working on our next generation WiFi/BT connectivity chips. You will closely work with RF and Analog design experts to architect and design state of the art RF circuits in deep submicron processes. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Development Engineering.
Responsibilities & Competencies
Job Duties
-
Architecture and design of high performance, low power, RF, PMU & Analog circuits

Lead block design from specification to layout implementation then lab characterization
-
Perform circuit simulations using standard industry tools

Closely work with system, layout and lab engineers

Analyze and interpret test data to validate designs against specifications and regulatory requirements.

Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design-related issues

Help the team to deliver PMU/RF IPs on time with the required quality level
Competencies

Good understanding of CMOS technologies, System-Verilog modeling, and AMS IC validation flow

Proactive, self-starter, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications (Requirements)

Engineer degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent
-
5 years of experience in RF-Analog design

Proven experience in designing RF-Analog circuits for submicron processes

High proficiency using simulation tools such as Cadence or equivalent
-
No travel required
