Senior Power Electronics Engineer – EV Charging
Design the power stage behind fast-charging infrastructure
A
t
Siemens eMobility Charging
, we don’t develop chargers as end products—we engineer the
power electronics that make the difference
: higher efficiency, higher power levels, and reliability at scale.
As a
Senior Power Electronics Engineer
, you take
end-to-end technical ownership
of high‑power converters within our EV charging systems. You work on AC/DC and DC/DC topologies that operate in the real world—from design to validation and industrialization.
This role is for engineers who don’t just simulate, but
build, measure, and solve
.
Why this role stands out
-
Design
multi‑kW to MW-class power converters
for real-world applications
-
Have
direct impact on efficiency, performance, and system cost
-
Work with
state-of-the-art technologies
(e.g. SiC, high-frequency design)
-
Follow your design from
concept → lab → production
-
Shape technical direction and
coach other engineers
What you will do
You will join the Power Electronics team and take
technical responsibility across the full lifecycle
